Sports & Outdoor Events
Races, rides and outdoor events are mostly an operations job. There's a site or route to build, kit to get in and out, crew and marshals to put in the right places, and a site to clear at the end. Nahud takes on that work for event organisers in the Western Cape and across South Africa, and for the agencies working with them.

How a job runs
How an outdoor event comes together
- 01
Route or site
We go through the route or site plan with you, including access roads and build windows.
- 02
Kit and crew
We list what's being built, who supplies it, and how many crew each day needs.
- 03
Build
The crew builds in the agreed order, so the site is ready when participants arrive.
- 04
Event and pack-down
Marshals and crew work to your timings. Afterwards the site is stripped and loaded out.
Experience
Who's behind Nahud
Its founder has about 17 years of experience in the events industry, including freelance work. That experience is his own, from before Nahud existed, not the company's history. We don't use other organisers' event names or logos to sell our services.
Questions
Questions about outdoor events
Can you run operations for an event we organise?
Yes. You keep the event, the entries and the sponsors. Nahud can run the site build, the staffing and the deliveries, or only the parts you're short of people for.
Do you supply marshals and access control?
Yes, and route crew too, through our event staffing service. Send the route, the number of marshal points and the shift times.
Can you work on routes and remote sites?
Yes. Route events and remote sites need more planning for deliveries and for getting crew to their positions, so include the route map and access details in your brief.
What should we send for a quote?
The event date and format, the venue or route, expected participant numbers, what needs building and who supplies the kit, and the crew roles you need each day.
